A dynamic task lamp that illuminates spaces in the home environment.​

A collapsible shade provides the option for soft, diffused ambient lighting once a task or activity is completed.
A multipurpose lighting solution blending the home and workspace together.
Illuminate workspaces
A LED array provides bright, focused lighting for work-related activities. Then, a collapsible paper shade can be pulled down to provide soft, warm ambient lighting.
Adjustable arm
Light can be cast directly where
needed with fully adjustable angles.
The arm uses pivot hinges to pivot up to 55°.
Dynamic lighting control
An optical control interface that includes a brightness bar, a full color temperature range of 3000 to 6000K, and timing feature.

The green light is a 30 minute timer and the blue light is 60 minute timer for task management or for bedtime.
Changing modalities
To switch back to Focus Mode, the lantern shade is fully collapsible—reducing its volume to nearly zero.

Isamu Noguchi’s iconic Akari Light Sculptures are recognized for modernizing the Japanese traditional paper lantern, revitalizing the lantern industry by exchanging the candle for a light bulb.

As the lighting industry shifts from incandescents to LEDs, Lamptern builds upon Noguchi’s legacy by adapting the paper lantern design towards the future of lighting.
